- Since December 2022, Head of the Office of the Special Envoy for the Alliance for Green Infrastructure in Africa supporting the Special Envoy in the fundraising efforts for the initiative and contributing to the implementation of the various pillars of the Alliance.
- Joined the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Cooperation of Senegal in May 2019 as
technical advisor, seconded by the Tony Blair Institute, leading and coordinating various initiatives and projects with international private sectors and financial partners with a strong focus on investment and financing matters. Structured and negotiated several transactions at cabinet level. 1.1 bn euros + cumulated ECA financings and commercial loans in various sectors. Was appointed Director of Cabinet/Chief of Staff of the Minister in July 2021.
- Member of various important boards of directors:
- Represented Senegal, Gambia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Togo and Niger on the board of IsDB and subsidiaries (Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit and Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development) from January 2021 to November 2022.
- Member of the Board of ICD from January to December 2021.
- Member of the Board of the Pasteur Institute of Dakar from January 2021 to November 2022. Was amongst the member of the committee overseeing the MADIBA project, a regional manufacturing hub for COVID-19 and other vaccines in Dakar, Senegal with an initial capacity of up to 300 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine annually for use in Africa.
- Worked for ContourGlobal in the M&A and Business Development team from February 2018 to May 2019. Started his career at the Sovereign Fund of Senegal after a 6-month program in the Metals and Mining team M&A team of Credit Agricole CIB.
- Graduated at Ecole Centrale Paris in 2016 and performed an exchange program in the Business School of the Shanghai Jiao Tong University of China
