Mohammed Alsayed is the Manager of the Public Private Partnership Division at the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) responsible for the development, structuring and delivery of the Bank’s PPP portfolio across IsDB’s 57 member countries. Prior to his current role, Alsayed was the Manager of the Economic Infrastructure Division leading the development of the Bank’s polices and strategies for Energy, Transport and ICT interventions in member countries.
Alsayed has more than 20 years of experience in designing, implementing and financing infrastructure projects in public and private sector. He occupied multiple positions in IsDB including the Manager of Energy & ICT Division and Manager of Transport Division responsible for sovereign projects financing and implementation. His career is focused on delivering integrated solutions and improving infrastructure projects efficiency. He is member of the UN Technical Advisory Group on SDG7, member of the Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) Steering Committee and member of the MDBs Infrastructure Cooperation Platform.
Prior to joining the IsDB in 2005, Alsayed worked with Motorola in Dallas, Texas in the United States. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University, USA and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA.
